OctaCon is a CAD software for exhibition stands designing. It has been developed on the base of users requirements and recommendations, especially from the Brno Trades and Exhibitions. It works as an extension of AutoCad. Nowadays it is available for Autocad R.14, 2000, 2002. You need not have complete knowledge of Autocad, only a few basic commands are necessary. OctaCon does not restrict using of any AutoCad possibilities.

Octacon uses the advanced ExpoGen technology for wall generation. It enables to generate the whole stand very fast.

The system uses not only Octanorm parts. There are also Struktur, Alur, Syma Orbit, Furniture, Electro, etc. included. Over 1300 parts and groups are available.

Atypical parts generation is very fast. The whole work is only to select some parameters in respond of OctaCon prompts. Beside of this, it is always possible to draw completely free, using Autocad functions.

OctaCon is a fully spatial system. It generates the 3D-model of the exposition. It means easy production of any axonometric or perspective views.

The model is even prepared for rendering (shading, materials and colors assigning, lights etc.). You can use internal Autocad functions or some external software for visualization. For example after exporting the project to the 3D Studio it is possible to generate an impressive walk through the exposition.

Most often used walls are placed directly in the menu, so you need not asseble them again and again. In addition, it is possible to use the system of Autocad blocks for saving some repeatedly used semi-finished products.

OctaCon sorts all parts into appropriate layers automatically. This function will be appreciated especially in a large and complicated project. The layers can be turned on/off arbitrarily.

OctaCon generates the list of used parts automatically. This list is fully editable in a word editor.
